4 + blogs = 1 new site!

Dear followers,

I have decided to combine all of my interior/food blogs onto one location :)
I will continue posting at Vintage Rose Brocante/Vintage Vanille at vintagerosebrocante.com
I will use my tumblr from time to time because I am addicted to reblogging and follow some amazing tumblr pages. I have on tumblr more followers than I could of ever imagined and am very grateful.

Christmas Cards

~ Christmas Cards~

I haven't found time to make my own cards this year so I have cheated!

I took a card with Christmas Stockings and cut the stockings out.

Then I punched two holes in a pre-printed store bought Christmas Card. 

One in the left and right top corner.

Then I simply added some gold coloured gift wrapping cord to create a wash-line effect.

 

 I then attached the stockings with miniature clothes-pins.

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

 So we our back home. Had a nice time visiting my brother and his family. Excited that they will be visiting us soon!
Before we left it was starting to look like Christmas there. We went to Christmas Town at Busch Gardens, the radio was playing only Christmas songs & my brother and his wife were already busy decorating. Our first day home I got out the tree & ornaments. Not yet finished (never am) but it is really starting to look and smell like Christmas. Tonight I made some floral arrangements with my neighbour. Some greens with roses. I am going to try and do a DIY project every night until Christmas! As for Vintage Rose Brocante at tumblr I will start posting this week! I am active on Pinterest again and hope to be blogging more now that I am back home.

Autumn diy fun in less than 10 minutes.

 I wanted to do some decorating for the fall. I love having candles outside so I thought I would decorate some jars and use them. I choose a jar where you could see where the sticker had been knowing it would be camouflaged by the leaves. It took in all 10 minutes including the time needed to warm the glue and gather the leaves.

Here is the result.

Glass Accessories ~ DIY Painted Glass

While scanning the Pinterest 'everything' page I found this image...

Something easy, fun and beautiful to look at.

Today while painting a small table I realised I could try this too! Something from my 'diy to do list'.

I took this vase which is from Ikea for €0,50 ...

I then simply added some paint, 

 

swished it around,

poured out the paint 

and voilà! 

 

I am very happy with the result. No glass in my home is safe now!

Painted the entry.

Yesterday I decided to paint one of the walls in my entry. 

They were already a shade of grey that the previous residents used. I had some paint leftovers and found this lovely shade of purple. One wall makes so much of a difference.
